![]() ![]() With everything coming to an end, the big question is who makes it out alive, who suffers for their sins, and who gets a hopeful future. Season 4 is no less nuanced, as it explores themes of consequences for our characters. The only one said to be purely, perpetually good, is our protagonist, Juliana Crain (Alexa Davalos). ![]() ![]() Nuance is everything, and the series has shown itself to be adept at making sure every character is fully fleshed out. Over the course of three seasons, we have seen villains like John Smith (Rufus Sewell) and fan favorite, Inspector Kido (Joel de la Fuente), show their humanity. One might think that since the series is about Nazis, that there would be a clear divide between good and evil, but that’s not how High Castle works, in the same way that that’s not how life works.
